Snow Removal Information

Strathmore Condominium Association pays a private company each winter to plow the snow in our subdivision. If this is not done then the streets would be plowed according to township guidelines days later. The map to the right shows what is paid to be plowed, shown in blue.

It is the home owners responsibility to remove snow from their sidewalks and driveway per Macomb Township ordinance.

Please try to remove all vehicles from the street before the plows come through.

Snow Emergency

If Macomb Township declares a snow emergency, then all cars must be removed from the streets. When there is a snow emergency it is acceptable to cover the side walk with a vehicle.

An email will be sent out to all members of the site to inform them of the snow emergency.

If you are unable to shovel your snow.

If you are temporarily unable to shovel your snow due to injury or vacation, please ask a neighbor or inform the board of the situation. The board will try to find a neighbor to help or recommend some vendors that can perform this duty for a fee.

Salt

Salt is only applied to streets when specifically asked for by the Board of Directors.
